Martas Curry began singing at age 15 when choir director Clarissa Jenkins encouraged him to move beyond his fear of singing in front of others and sing a lead vocal. Since that time, he has developed his own soulful style and has never looked back. He has recorded with Jeffrey Williams & the Voices of Inspiration and has performed with such recording artists as John P. Kee, Vanessa Bell Armstrong and Shea Norman. Some of his musical influences include Fred Hammond, Daryl Coley, Smokie Norful, MUSIQ Soulchild, Boyz II Men, Donny Hathaway, & Marvin Gaye.
